Eating treats in moderation has always been my motto, but my resolve is certainly being tested today in this donut café on Kona Street in Honolulu. Do you think you have the will power to only order one?

Every now and again, we may find a place that is so incredible that we wanna post about it. Then, we rethink it and soon don't want to share these hidden secrets with others. That's where I'm at RIGHT NOW!!!
This hidden donut café has the perfect location, good parking, and a divine seating area for you to enjoy your bundles of mouth watering perfection. Ladies and gentlemen, take an adventure to PURVE DONUT STOP (pronounced PUR-VAY).
Located at 1234 Kona Street, just go up the ramp and nestle your transport into a stall! It's time to let the fun begin!
When you first walk up, you'll notice a few other stores in the lobby area! KoAloha Ukulele, Iolani clothing store, and a pop-up on Saturday by Snack Addicted. It's fantastic to see small local businesses bundled together to create a thriving neighborhood of business. At the heart of it is PURVE DONUT STOP. I sat and watched as people fluttered in and walked out with boxes of bakery perfection. (Buying just one donut doesn't look possible!)
The owners of PURVE DONUT STOP are Nicholas Cornford and Brion Zablan. These two bakers were bartenders prior to opening up this wonderland of carbohydrate splendor. I'm so happy they (in their words) "traded in their strainers for a fryer". Besides just having names that make you chuckle while ordering them, these creative confectioners created donuts that make you want to rub them all over your body in an appropriately inappropriate way. #SoYummy
